Sorry, Not Sorry

Well, I am...

I have so much coursework to do that I don't even have a life anymore. :(
The only people I see are those in my flat, I barely talk to anyone online. I'm not even texting the girl as much anymore. My life sucks, and it's going to stay like this until the end of May.

Once my coursework and exams are over, I will be back to almost daily blogging. :3 Lucky you, haha.
But seriously, 1 sketch book, 2 essays, 1 exam and a group presentation. Less than a month to do all but the exam. I am screwed.

But it's not all doom and gloom. My flatmate is being extremely lovely to me, we watch anime together each night and act like a couple in private. ;3 But it's staying secret, so shhhh. ;) Our other flatmates don't seem to know yet, or they just haven't brought it up. This is bliss. Although I feel like my emotions are cheating on each other :( I'm getting these feelings for my flatmate but I still like the girl I was talking to (we both have loads of work to do and can't even Skype at the moment). I'm technically single but I still feel awful about it...

Unconditional love,

P.S As of two days ago, I have been blogging for a year :3 I was going to do something big for it, buuut... stuff happens.

Boring Update ;3

So I finally took that exam on Wednesday (15th) and it went pretty well. Although I'm scared to look back at my notes incase I missed something and dread results day... This is what revision did to me :(

I've postposed my Christmas project from uni and finally took out some books from the library today, although I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do with them haha. It's based on Ansel Adams, thats all you need to know. If I like any of my images, I'll post them here. I have to 'carry him around with me' like a best friend. I mean, who carries their friends? :P I have two weeks left...

And I've been getting really bored with my hair lately, so I'm wearing my extensions more often. Admittedly I wear them with a hat too as I'm loving the combination. I need more hair dyes so I can change my look even more haha. (I use wash out hair dye, and at the moment I only have pink, but I found this shop that does them quite cheaply instead of having to order them online and pay delivery.)

Unconditional love,

Life Lessons #4

Perfection

This doesn't exist in a living form. Simple. HARSH REALITY.

Don't stress about not being 'perfect enough' because no matter how hard you try, it won't happen. You are unique, and beautiful in your own right. There is no perfect person. But you can be amazing, stunning, clever and you can fein perfection.

But then faking perfection makes your imperfect as a rule. Everything around you has a flaw, but if you turn that flaw into a positive, you'll be much happier.

Too short to reach you top shelf? You're cute and fun sized.

Really tall? Great model or basketball player.

Shy? Great at observing others.

Wear glasses? Adorkable, the right frames make you look even cuter, or sophisticated and sexy.

Life Lessons #3

Self Harming

Don't do it! I know what it's like to spiral into a pit of despair, the only release for your emotions being pain.

The empty feeling, being lonely even when surrounded by people. Unbearable sadness, the ache in your heart. Yeah, I've been there....

But from experience, cutting doesn't actually help. The pain? Yes. The blood, woozy feeling and scars? No.
Ok, I hate the sight and smell of blood, but that isn't the point.
In my down days, I would go to forum after forum for help, and the best piece of advice was: Keep a rubber band around your wrist, then instead of cutting, ping it. You still get the pain without the scars. Sorry I can't remember who said it, but it was probably on FizzyFamily.com.

Remember that no matter what you are going through, it CAN and WILL get better. Sometimes we do things that we regret, but that's life. And life matters.

Stay strong. <3

Life Lessons #2

Be proud of everything you have accomplished, no matter how small.

Riding a bike. Yes, some people didn't learn and it's an accomplishment. I took it for granted and was surprised when a friend was shocked that I could ride.

Exam results are something to be proud of, even if you didn't get what you wanted. When I was really young (primary school), I thought GCSEs were really hard and wanted to get all C's. When I was doing the exams, I was predicted all A*s, As and a B. I ended up with 2As, 6Bs, 2Cs, and a D. I didn't revise, so in a way I did well, but my friends did better than me. Hard work paid off for them. I actually revised for my A-levels and got D's :/ But I'm at university anyway xD. There's always a way round things if you have an ambition.

Learning another language. So I was talking to someone with English as their second language, and I would say they're better than half the people that live in Britain, but he didn't believe me and refused to say anything afterwards. The thing is, he was proud of how good he was at English until one stupid person commented that they didn't understand >.< .

Staying a virgin. The older you get, and closer to your 20's you are, the prouder I will be of you. I think I was too young at 16 and regret it (I've mentioned this somewhere before) so stay true to you, and don't let anyone take advantage. :)

Getting your first job, no matter how much you hate it. I loved my first job, but due to family problems and distance (travelling from London every weekend), I quit after 5 months. I'd love to go back there but there were no vacancies this summer, not even in the rest of the town. o.O

That's all for now, but I might think of more to add.

Bored?

Are you stuck in a rut? Have nothing to do right now or over the next few weeks/months? Need another way to procrastinate/ put things off? Have little or no money to do anything?

Here's a little list of suggestions you could do ;)

  • Make a hat for your pet
  • Grow a beard
  • Popcorn face
  • Punch noodles
  • Face masks out of random food
  • Wear a pet as a hat / scarf
  • Make a beer smoothie
  • Make a fruit smoothie
  • Draw something (Literally, or you could play the game)
  • Turn yourself into a tree/zombie/cat (face paints and costumes)
  • Be an aeroplane (Airplane for those not in Britain)
  • Dye your hair (not the best thing I have ever come up with)
  • Read a book
  • Write a story/poem/song
  • Join a random website and use it everyday for a week
  • Text everyone on your phone saying "Let's make a llama out of rainbows and paint the sea orange whilst dressed as Ninja Turtles :D".
  • Invent a sport and teach your family
  • Teach someone a card game but don't tell them the rules for each card (play it like uno to start with then the winner makes up and new rule by giving it a name but not telling anyone what it is) I swear this is more fun than it sounds.
  • Draw or write something nice for all your neighbours and post it to them.
  • Be bi-curious for the day
  • Start a blog
  • Swap houses with a friend or relative for the day/week to see if you can cope living in their shoes.
  • Pretend to be drunk in public (I don't want you lovelies getting arrested)
  • Picnic in your local park/beach.
  • Be a tourist in your own town for the day
  • Visit somewhere new, but is fairly close
  • Learn something new (how to cook, make something, a strange fact)
  • Annoy your family in a pleasant way (being overly nice or polite)
  • Say 'please' instead of 'thank you' and vice versa

So I hope you like this list. If you want to add anything more to it, just comment below :) These ones are a bit strange...

This Is Becoming Daily....

I didn't intend to start posting every single day but well, my life is getting less boring. I need a job :( At least, just for summer or something.

Today was eventful, I won't go into details but let's just say that some things were said, I got kicked three times, had juice poured over me and then had both my necklaces ripped off so they broke :'(. In the end, I threw the kids phone out my bedroom window...

Why is is always gifts that are destroyed?  First my birthday dress was cut up and bleached, and now the cross I was given by an uncle I never see when I was eight, a camera necklace my friend bought for my last birthday, and the playsuit I got for the birthday before (I was wearing before today's incident, then I had to shower again and change).

Why can't my 'vacation from uni' be peaceful, or fun, instead of stressful and broken?

Magpie - Just a story I wrote a while back

Amber and Aaron sat in Amber’s room after a long night of partying. Aaron was on Facebook, adding the people he had just met and uploading photo’s that were taken before he returned and fell asleep. Amber was laid sprawled on her bed, reading to new book by TMB. She took a couple of paces to stand behind her cousin, mentioning the names of her friends they had spent the previous night with. Her iTunes was playing in the background and a faint crash could be heard from the kitchen.

“Probably one of the cats.” She simply explained, knowing that they would probably be sleeping near the table.

“Yeah.” Aaron replied, again thinking nothing of it.

It was past noon and neither of them had gotten changed yet. Amber had cooked up an English breakfast each earlier, to help ease the hangover.

“Who went as Doctor Who?” Aaron asked, eager to remember as many names as possible. It was only a small party, but a lot had happened in fancy dress.

Amber gave the name Tom as another louder crash sounded from downstairs.

“What the fudge?! I think that was glass.”

Amber ran down the stairs as fast as she could, turning to the right into the dining room and through to the kitchen. She stopped as soon as she entered, confused as to why not a single cat was in sight. Amber took a couple of steps backward and saw both cats curled up on a chair next to the table. Frown lines burrowed into her soft caramel skin as she turned back to the kitchen counters. Then she saw it. “OH MY GOD!!!” She said loudly and slowly.

“What is it?” Aaron called from upstairs.

“There’s a bird … in the kitchen.” She said, looking at the black and white creature. Its sharp black beak pointed towards her.

“Are you joking?” He called again, this time from the stairs. He walked in, not seeing it at first, just like Amber had.

She pulled his arm over to the side, and pointed at the windowsill, “Do I look like I’m joking?”

“How did it get in?” Asking the obvious question Amber had running through her mind from the beginning. She looked around the room, and noticed the open window in the dining room.

She pointed to it, “Either that, or Fudge brought it in…. but he usually kills birds before bringing them in and he doesn’t seem fussed. Maybe he hasn’t noticed it?”

“Maybe, I’ll call Thelma. She might know what type of bird it is.”

Amber ran up the stairs to return with a laptop and searched for the bird. She walked over to the bird and back to the laptop several times before saying “It’s either a house sparrow or a magpie.”

“Hi Thelma,” Aaron started talking to his nan. Amber chimed in a happy ‘Hello’ while Aaron told his nan everything he knew about the bird and asked what to do. He told Amber to get a box, which she found quickly. After the call ended, they tried to get the bird in a box. Aaron found a pipe, and tried coaxing the bird to a clear corner. The bird looked at the pair with daggers, trying to warn them away. The box was thrown onto the magpie (which is what they now referred to it as) and then they both left the room to shower and get changed. Aaron was the first down and stood outside the dining room door when Amber joined him.

“Why are you out here?” she asked him.

“It’s on the floor, walking around.”

“What?! But we left it in the box…” she was astounded. “Go in and put it back in.”

Aaron opened the door, to find the box open, facing upwards with claw marks around every surface. He looked towards the bird and found it flying into his face. He didn’t have time to scream as he tried to defend himself from the dark, flying creature. The beating wings seemed to grow a little and the beak opened to let out a loud shriek. It pierced his chest first, diving deep into his heart and lungs letting blood spurt everywhere.

Amber was getting impatient waiting on the other side of the door. She assumed the shrieking from the magpie was from being put back inside the box. When she heard a loud thud, not knowing it was her cousin’s body hitting the floor, she entered the room, shutting the door close behind her. The initial shock of seeing Aaron on the floor caught her by surprise as she let out a successful scream. But no one would have been able to hear her as the house was empty. She ran to the kitchen, past the killer bird to grab a knife. As the bird flew towards her, she swished it in the air, hoping to catch it and stop it from killing her too. Each swish missed the bird by millimetres, as she flailed around without looking at what she was doing.

Aaron lay on the floor, slowly dying and wishing Amber would call an ambulance. He turned round with his arms to look towards the fight between girl and bird. His blood was staining the floor as searing pain filled his chest, making him feel weak. His movements were slow as he did not see the object flying towards him.

The bird lunged for Amber, aiming for her left eye. She didn’t have time to react, as it was plucked from her face. She threw the knife at that moment, missing the bird yet again and it landed point first into Aarons head, penetrating his brain and killing him instantly, while she tried to cover her face from the bird.

The bird savoured the taste of Amber’s eye, and wanted more. It flew at the girl, and seeing her arms across her face, it went for her stomach. She brushed him away, leaving a small hole, with the blood seeping through her t-shirt. She now clutched her stomach with one hand and her injured eye with the other. That’s when she saw the knife in Aaron head and she felt sick. With her distracted, the bird lunged again, going for her chest. Amber fell, unable to bear the pain, and managed to knock herself out on the counter as she went down. She didn’t feel the bird pecking at her other eye, nor did she feel sick anymore, or the bird clawing at her chest and drenching itself in her blood, eating away happily.

With that, the bird hopped out of the cat flap, through which a cat had brought it in, in search of his family. Tomorrow he would search for his next victim.
